It delves into themes of trauma and mysticism, incorporating elements of mind reading and hidden truths unveiled by therapist "Dr. Winston," portrayed by "America's Psychologist", Dr. Jeff Gardere. As the series unfolds, an enigmatic narrator, Rutina Wesley (known for OWN's Queen Sugar and HBO's The Last of Us and True Blood), introduces the intriguing concept of time travel, adding an additional layer of self-discovery to the story.
